Acceptable Use Policy
Acceptable-use rules for Akter Cloud.
You may not use Akter Cloud or its infrastructure to:
- mine cryptocurrency or run proof-of-work workloads;
- send spam, phishing messages, malware or other unsolicited bulk communications;
- scan, probe, exploit or attack systems, networks or accounts without authorization;
- abuse, evade or interfere with authentication, rate limits, action, stored-data or history caps, billing, access controls or security features;
- host content that is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, infringing, exploitative or harmful;
- attack, harass, stalk or dox another person;
- operate a botnet, command-and-control service, proxy abuse service or traffic amplification service;
- consume disproportionate shared resources, degrade another customer’s service or evade Free plan compute, action, stored-data or history limits;
- use Free compute for sustained resource abuse, including workloads whose primary purpose is to exhaust CPU, memory, storage, network or connection capacity; or
- help another person do any of these things.
You are responsible for securing your application, credentials, environment variables, dependencies and customer content. Report suspected abuse or a security issue to security@akter.dev. We may investigate, rate-limit, suspend or terminate activity that violates this policy or creates a security or reliability risk.
The Free plan caps monthly committed actions at 250,000, stored data at 1 GB and history at 1 GB across the organization’s stores. Shard log appends have a 250 ms floor on Free and a 50 ms floor on paid tiers; these are not response-time guarantees. Other allowances, rates and limits follow the applicable published catalog. Quota refusal does not undo accepted work; storage-cap refusal leaves reads, views and watches available. History garbage collection (7 days Free, 30 days paid) is not the separate 30-day store-retirement process described in the Terms of Service. Job seconds are shown but not billed.
