Subprocessors
Akter Cloud subprocessors and their purposes.
| Subprocessor | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Fly.io | Compute, network services and hosted deployment runners |
| Tigris | Customer runtime storage: one store bucket per environment incarnation |
| PlanetScale | Account, billing and control-plane records; Alchemy infrastructure state, not customer runtime data |
| Cloudflare | Websites, DNS and supporting web infrastructure |
| Vercel | Domain registration and supporting web infrastructure |
| Resend | Transactional and support email delivery |
| Axiom | Operational traces and logs |
| Stripe | Payment processing, billing and invoices |
| Better Stack | Operational alerting and incident support |
| GitHub | Source hosting, integrations and deployment workflows |
Akter creates and holds the customer runtime buckets; customers do not bring a runtime database or bucket. PlanetScale remains the Akter 0.1 control plane. A customer’s jobs may call external services using customer variables; those customer-selected providers are not supplied by Akter.
Storage location and transfers
Tigris provides customer runtime storage. Its region reference identifies iad as Ashburn, Virginia, USA; its bucket-location documentation distinguishes single-region iad buckets from its default global buckets. These provider location options are not a promise of global Akter storage or customer-selectable residency.
A bucket’s object-data location alone does not establish where provider metadata, support access or other service processing occurs. This page makes no residency, certification, provider encryption, credential-lifetime or service-level guarantee. Processing and international transfers are subject to applicable law and the applicable data-processing agreement.
The service may transmit account identifiers, organization metadata, application or deployment data, usage and operational logs, and other information needed for the stated purpose. Subprocessor changes will be reflected on this page, with notice where required by the applicable agreement.
